Ragged Old Flag

Remembering the Veterans of All Countries

In this season of the Chinese virus infecting the globe, with stay-at-home orders in countries from India to Italy to America, we remember the Veterans of all countries who are dying in nursing homes, and we honor them, their widows and their widowers. One Marine veteran who was at Iwo Jima loved for me to play the Johnny Cash song, "The Ragged Old Flag," and tears would come down his cheeks, as he loved America very, very much. Other Veterans from U.S. Army at Guadalcanal, U.S. Army in the Battle of the Bulge, U.S. Air Force in the Pacific, Navy Ships at Pearl Harbor, U.S. Army in the Winter trenches of Korea, Marine Corps Viet Nam Veterans, and Gulf War Veterans…we honor each and every Veteran and salute them as they leave with the funeral home transportation from their nursing homes to an honorable flag-draped coffin or cremation box and a proper funeral. God Bless America and God Bless our Veterans forever.

"The memory of the righteous is blessed." ~Proverbs 10:7
