"I am The Truth"

The movie by Mel Gibson, "The Passion of the Christ" is worth viewing this Holy Week. It is violent, as was our Lord Jesus' betrayal by a friend, the authorities, both Jewish and Roman, a disciple, three times, a thief on an adjacent Cross. Jesus was falsely accused, set up, spit upon, slapped in the face, whipped on his back and on his front, mocked, laughed at, separated from His Heavenly Father God, and He suffered this physical abuse and death to pay for my sins, past, present, and future, and for your sins, past, present, and future. Holy is His Name. He appeared to a woman first for whom He had cast out seven devils, Mary, and He trusted her with His gospel, and instructed her, Mary, to go and tell his other 11 disciples. They did not believe her at first, but eventually ran to His tomb, saw it empty, the stone rolled away, and awaited His visitation to them, as He had revealed and visited and spoken to her.
Jesus did visit His 11 disciples and revealed Himself to them, as God The Son, approved of by God His Father, and alive and risen from the dead. The nail marks were still in his hands. He later appeared to two men on the road and explained the Scriptures to them. Jesus loves us all and has made a way to heaven for us all. Trust Jesus, for He is The Truth. He sent His Holy Spirit to be with us forever also.
