The most beautiful scene from the “Passion of the Christ." Christians celebrate Jesus Christ's resurrection on Easter Sunday. Jesus appears to Mary first after He is resurrected from the dead. Resurrection Sunday or Easter Sunday is on April 1st.
Many churches hold special services on Easter Sunday,
celebrating Jesus Christ's resurrection after his crucifixion.
Many people also decorate eggs. These can be hard boiled eggs that can be eaten later, but may also be model eggs made of plastic, chocolate, candy or other materials. It is also common to organize Easter egg hunts. Eggs of some form are hidden, supposedly by a rabbit or hare. People, especially children, as well as Grandpas and Grandmas in nursing homes search for them.
"In Your Easter Bonnet"
As we remember Easter with our parents, we remember the 1948 Easter Parade movie, with Judy Garland & Fred Astaire.
