John Stewart IV received his college diploma from UCLA after 59 years.
He first attended there in 1965. It was one of John's bucket list goals, as he loved UCLA and was a student there from 1959 to 1963. He was in the Beta fraternity house but left before graduation to join the United States Marine Corps Reserves, where he earned an honorable discharge in 1969 during the Vietnam War years. John is a dad, so we celebrate "Dads & Grads." Congratulations John! He's now 82 years old, retired, and a husband and dad, grandpa, and college UCLA graduate, too. Go Bruins!
